University Ministry Reflection Garden

University Ministry and Mission Integration partnered with DCDC on a community-engaged design process for a reflection garden on the grounds of Detroit Mercy. The garden design, which will be phased over time, will feature native plantings that will engage the senses, foster moments of pause and reflection, and create habitat for butterflies and bees. The garden offers a space to remember those we have lost in the Detroit Mercy community. It will be a place where people on campus can have a quiet moment of peace or meditation as they move through the day as well as a place to gather.
